It is a very well painted fall. I assume you got inspired by Bill Alexander. Take a look at his work and you will be able to bring down the harmony of colors in this kind of painting. anyone who has seen Bill Alexander can tell by one look your painting is going that direction. Best of luck!

I'm not sure what you were trying to achieve. For a first painting, it's a good start. The only critique I would give it is that I think the use of so many primary colors tends to be overwhelming. Try using complementary colors (blue/yellow or re/green) instead. Look at the Impressionists work for good ideas on the use of color - especially Cezanne and Monet.
