Just do it!
by: Erica

The beautiful thing about painting is that your work doesn't have to look like a photograph. Everyone has an individual style, and it seems you have a wonderful talent (not to mention passion) for an anime style. It is easy to make something realistic-- just paint what you see. With enough practice, anyone can do that. But anyway, why would you want to spend so much time copying if you could simply take a photo? What makes drawing and painting, etc. unique is that you are not constrained by reality. If you want to paint a portrait, paint what you see (be aware it takes some practice to learn how) and then make it YOURS by maybe giving your subject an animated touch. Stick with what you love, but don't be afraid to try something new. Good luck! I hope this helps!

Wow. That is all I have to say.

Wow. Your anime/manga is awesome! You have great talent! Maybe you should scan this onto your computer and do some graphic stuff, then do it in oils. You should become a professional! I love it!
